App not working
Troubleshooting
Quick fixes for blank screens, stuck loading spinners, and connection issues.
If the app isn't loading or something is acting up, running through this quick checklist usually fixes 90% of issues:
- Refresh the page. A simple reload clears most temporary glitches.
- Clear your browser cache for myriadpaths.ai (usually found in browser settings → Privacy → Clear data), then sign back in.
- Try a different browser. Opening the app in Safari, Chrome, or Firefox is the fastest way to check if the issue is browser-specific.
- Reinstall the app. If you added the app to your home screen, delete it, open the site in your browser again, and re-add it.
- Check your connection. Try opening another website to ensure your internet is working properly.
- Switch your network. If the site won't load at all, try switching from Wi-Fi to mobile data (or vice versa).
- Sign in again. If you cleared your cache, you will be logged out. Don't worry — just sign in using the exact same method you used originally (Google, Apple, or email link) and your progress will be right there.
If none of these steps help, we're here for you. Send an email to [email protected] and let us know what device, operating system, and browser you are using.
Frequently asked questions
Answers regarding blank pages, stuck spinners, network issues, and device performance.
I only see a blank white page when the app loads.
First, try a hard refresh to clear the page's memory (Press ⌘⇧R / Ctrl+Shift+R on a computer, or pull down to refresh on mobile). Still blank? Try a different browser. Sometimes a corrupted file gets stuck in your device's cache, and switching browsers bypasses it.
The app is stuck endlessly loading.
This usually means the app started to load but was interrupted by a brief network drop. Check if other websites load fine. If they do, clear your browser cache and reload the page.
I can't reach myriadpaths.ai at all, but other sites work.
Switch from Wi-Fi to mobile data to test the connection. If the site loads on mobile data, the issue is likely your home network's DNS (some internet providers misroute newer domains). You can usually fix this by changing your device's DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 (Google) or 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare).
Why does the app feel slow on my device?
The app relies on modern browser features for things like voice generation and real-time text rendering. If you are using an older device (roughly older than iOS 16 or Android 10), Safari and Chrome might struggle with these heavy tasks. Check out our System requirements for more details.
I cleared my cache and now my account is gone!
Don't panic — your account isn't gone. Clearing your browser cookies simply logs you out. All your stories, Sparks, and characters are safely saved on our servers. Just sign in again using the same method as before, and everything will be exactly as you left it.
Is there a system status page?
We are currently working on a public status page. For now, if the site seems to be down entirely, please email [email protected]. Global outages are rare, and we can quickly check if the issue is on our end or local to your network.
