How to switch devices or recover your account

Your progress is safely tied to your account. Just sign in, and everything will be right where you left it.

Whether you got a new phone, reinstalled the app, or even had to factory reset your device, there is no need to panic. Your Sparks and Stories are safely stored on your account, not on your phone.

Here is how it works:

  • Switching to a new device — Simply open Myriad Paths and sign in using the exact same method you used before (Google, Apple, or email link). All your progress will be waiting for you.
  • Playing on multiple devices — You can easily switch between your phone, tablet, and computer. You can be signed in on all of them at the same time, and your stories will stay in perfect sync.
  • Reinstalling the app — Works exactly like getting a new device. Just sign back in to continue playing.

What if I lost access to my email or login account? If your Google account was compromised, your Apple ID disabled, or you completely lost access to your email, write to us at [email protected]. We handle these cases manually. To help us move your progress to a new email, please provide anything that proves the account is yours: payment receipts, your original email address, or rough account creation dates.

Will I lose my stories if I get a new phone?

No. Since everything is stored on your account, you just need to sign in with your usual Google, Apple, or email account. All your adventures will appear in the "My Stories" tab, ready for you to continue.

Will my Sparks balance transfer over?

Yes. Sparks are attached to your account profile, so your balance remains exactly the same no matter what device you use to sign in.

What if I completely lost access to my email?

Don't panic! Write to [email protected] and we'll help you manually move your account to a new email address. Please include any proof of ownership you have: the original email, your last login location, payment receipts, or even screenshots of your game profile. This manual process takes a little time, but we will do our best to get you back in.

Can I be logged in on my phone and computer at the same time?

Yes! You can be signed into your phone, tablet, and computer all at once. Each device keeps its own session, meaning signing out of one won't affect the others. Your story progress and Sparks balance sync across all of them in real time.

I lost my device. How do I sign out remotely?

Currently, you'll need to email us at [email protected]. We can forcefully end all active sessions on your account, requiring every device to sign back in. We plan to add a self-serve 'sign out everywhere' button in the app soon.
