Login methods
Three ways to sign in — Google, Apple (iOS only), email magic link. No password.
Myriad Paths has no passwords — there are three ways to sign in instead:
- Google. One tap and you're in. The most reliable option across devices.
- Apple. iOS only (Apple requires it there). One tap and you're in.
- Email magic link. Type in your email, we send you a link, you click it, and you're in. Works on any device and any browser.
We went passwordless because it's safer — there's no password to steal or phish — and it's just less hassle: nothing to reset, nothing to forget. There's no two-factor step of our own right now; the providers (Google, Apple) already handle that for you. Linking more than one method to a single account is on the roadmap.
If you ever lose access to the thing you sign in with (your Google or Apple account is compromised, your email mailbox is gone), write to [email protected] — recovery is handled by hand for now.

Why no password?
Two reasons — safety and simplicity. Passwords get reused, leaked, and phished. Magic links and Google/Apple sign-in hand that risk to companies whose whole job is logging people in safely. You've got no password to remember, and we've got none to store.
Can I link multiple methods to one account?
Not yet — one method per account for now. Whatever you first sign up with becomes your account's key. We do plan to add linking, so you'll be able to attach Apple to a Google account (or the other way round) for a bit of backup. Until then, pick the method you'll still have access to years from now.
What if I lose access to my Google or Apple account?
Write to [email protected] and we'll recover it by hand. Give us enough to prove the account is yours — roughly when you signed up, your last login, payment receipts if you bought Sparks — and we can move the account over to a new sign-in. It's the slow road, but it works.
Is two-factor auth supported?
Not on our side, no. We lean on your provider's 2FA — if it's on for your Google or Apple account, your sign-in here is already covered. Magic-link sign-in is protected by your email's own security; we don't add a separate code-generator step on top.
How do I sign out?
Bottom tab → Settings → Sign out. That ends the session on this device only. If you need to sign out on a device you can't get to, write to [email protected].
Can I have multiple accounts?
Sure — one per email, Google, or Apple identity. Plenty of people keep a personal account plus a separate one just for co-op, and that's totally fine. Just remember Sparks don't carry between them — each account has its own balance.
